Etowah River Run

Man has it been a hot Summer! I was in New York City last week, and my morning runs in Central Park were in 78 degree heat at 90%+ relative humidity. Before that, I ran the Etowah River Run 5K in Canton, GA on July 29, and I did fairly well. I ran my 3rd fastest 5K ever, 17:25, and I placed in my age group. It was nice to have a race less than 8 miles from my house.

I plan to complete my first triathlon this fall. I may be calling some of the veterans in the group for pointers on the swim segment.
